The artist and rapper MELIONE emerges as a newcomer on the LA and OC hip-hop music scene offering the listener a new personal experience in each song she delivers. Her music is told through captivating lyrical punctuation and heartfelt melodies that bounce across a song with such authority that we can’t help but be moved by her message. Aptly titled ME, Melione’s first studio album is a collection of 5 songs, the first of a three part series. The EP, due to drop at the end of 2016, is a collection of personal experiences that mark her evolution as an artist. The album hosts an array of musical talent including keyboardist Navi David Mayfield Jr. (India Arie, Justin Beiber, Snoop Dogg), bassists Del Atkins (Dr.Dre) and Jarrod Dickerson (Boyz II Men, Omarion) along with a double collaboration with Emmy-nominated producer FunkP and veteran music producer Joey Arreguin. Born in Fountain Valley as Victoria Hoang and raised in Garden Grove, California, Melione started rapping at an early age under the influence of wordsmiths like Tupac, Lauryn Hill and Eminem. Later, she attended UC San Diego and the Los Angeles Recording School to study as a recording engineer. After some key experiences changed the trajectory of her life, she focused increasingly on becoming an artist. With a steady determination to paint pictures with words and unmatched energy, Melione proves that we can be our truest selves and inspire others along the way.
